For happy childhood memories and care, the award winning Friends Day Nursery Crossgar provides a warm, homely and safe environment where families have been made welcome since 2012. Friends is conveniently located on the Square, Crossgar and our award winning After School Club is located at Cedar Integrated Primary School, Crossgar.

Our aim is for children, even those from the earliest age to develop physically, socially and educationally whilst playing within our care and guidance.
Our priorities at Friends are safety, comfort and stimulation. Learning through play and self-expression will be at the heart of each child’s day.
Friends fully accept that a child’s parents are their first educators and primary carers. To this end we work in partnership to achieve this goal together.

Friends@Crossgar is located in the historic Market House situated at the Square, Crossgar. The building was erected in 1829 to serve out the newly laid Market Square in Crossgar. During the early 1900s the upper floor served as school to the local community and by the late 1900s the building served as a Church Hall.
